Built in 1931 of stone construction, has modern BASS YORKSHIRE signs including a barrel above the door. One ground floor window is etched with the letter ‘H’.

Fine stone and tiled frontage. A tiled strap runs the full length of the building above the ground floor windows and door carrying the words - HEWITT’S GRIMSBY ALES. This is unfortunately obscured by a later Bass Yorkshire sign.
